NOTES FROM THE CITY CLERK

          This is a notice to inform residents that the dog licenses for 2006-2007 will
be due as of September 1st.  If you purchase your dog license between September 1
and October 1, the cost of the license is discounted.  The license fee will be $5.00
until after October 1 when it will go back up to the regular fee of $8.00.

You must bring proof of your dogs current rabies shot from your veterinarian with you.

Outside Water Usage

         I have received several calls from residents this summer asking if they have
to pay sewer charges on the water that they use outside to water lawns, wash cars,
fill pools etc.  Unless you have a second water meter for the outside usage you are
charged sewer on all water that goes through your water meter.  The sewer
charges on your utility bill are based on the water consumption for your residence.  
If you have any further questions about this issue, please call the clerk’s office and I
will try to help you.

NOTICE TO COURTLAND RESIDENTS

There will be an increase in your sewer rate as of your March billing due to
the fact that New Ulm raised the rate that the city pays them.
